    Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has ever looked at driving data after driving a certain scenario in order to calculate something like actions per minute (APM).

I think that the steering and driving pedal data should be optimal indicators on how much the driver "has to do". For example, it should be possible to count local maxima in the steering angle (or pedal position) and calculate the ratio per time unit. Then, levels could be ranked according to how demanding they are to the drivers. But I am not sure if this is correct.

Do you know similar statistics from other games? Please share your thoughts and ideas. I would be very happy to start an exchange about this.

    Best regards
    Markus

You could argue that a better driver has to steer less on the same course, as he minimizes over/understeer and takes corners ideally with minimum possible turn angle

Definitely! So it could be useful to compare either drivers or scenarios. Or even cross-validate them. Any ideas? This is what chatGPT gave me in the meanwhile:
