I am making a scenario with Flowgraph and its going well. I am looking at example missions in the code and they all have translations in them, but they all in; C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\locales From what I understand, I cannot edit core beamng files, is there a way for my flowgraph to look at a different area for the translation files? Or is there a way to tell my mod/scenario to add to the users local? Thanks in advance!
So no real luck finding a way. Hopefully a dev may popup and tell me a better way to do it rather than manage 1000 string nodes with each lang covered and having to prompt the user to select their lang each time they start the mission....
I reached out to @HighDef on one of their Youtube tutorial videos about this issue and got a response. Well the truth is bitter, but happy to have an answer. Translations are for internal use only. I hope this changes in the future, i'm sure it will but for now my missions will be only for english speakers... BUT! I was working on a method in Flowgraph to take in a whole bunch of string nodes and use a custom LUA node to sniff the users Local and then choose the correct strings to use. This however gets pretty nuts to maintain. I will just wait for now and hopefully non EN users will understand since no mods (that I can tell) cater to polyglots.
