I'm trying to make my Covet 4WD mod compatible with the vanilla Covet transmission, but I have no idea where to start.

you need to create a transfer case, a rear differential, and splitshafts and make sure all the slots are written the right way...I have done this particular mod several times on other cars, including the Covet, but since some of the parts hierarchy has changed, i would have to take a stab at it myself. I just got my computer back after it being worked on for a few months...i was going to start to do this mod this week once I had some time. I can give you pointers when I get started on it.

I already have the entire powertrain written and working, but only with my custom CVT.

Four months later, I got it partially working. Still not as I want it though, it uses a custom front differential instead of gearbox.
