Adding boost value to Vivace Ecu

    I am working on an ecu for the "Cherrier FCV" or the Vivace, My goal has been having a sub category under "engine management" called "piggy back tune". the purpose is to take the wastegateStart value from the given ecu and add 6.5. I have had no luck in the 'piggy back tune' actually telling the ecu to add more boost. Can anyone help with this?
