Adding Engine thermals?

I was wondering about this for a while, but, is it possible, to add Engine thermals, to cars that don't have them?

That's up to the modder.

 

It seems to be that the jbeams of the engines of the official cars are re-written. I know this because I had to do this to my mod to.

 

So to add them to modded original cars (for example: D-Troxx's 200BX) the coupe_engine.jbeam file from the original, non-modded 200BX, needs to be copied, and placed in the D-Troxx's 200BX folder replacing that coupe_engine.jbeam in the modded 200BX's folder? Is it like that to get the engine thermals?
