Hey guys, first of all I sincerely apologize for my lack of experience.

Is there a way I could edit the suspension files on for example a D series truck and add more wheel travel to the shocks/suspension ? or make the shocks longer ? Or would it cause other J beams to not work properlly.

I have tried modifying many parameters but it always ends up very badly.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks!

Like increasing the ride height basically?
You can do that by equipping the off-road suspension in the parts menu, then go to the tuning menu and theres a variety of options including the ride height that can be edited

Not ride height, wheel travel. For example when the truck is in the air , how far the shocks extend (how much droop/downtravel). Or how much room they have to compress before hitting the bumpstops (uptravel/bump travel)

Currently changing from the stock D Series setup to the offroad setup made by beanmg does add wheel travel and ride height. I am trying to figure out if I can add any more wheel travel.

That is basically ride height but with soft suspension. You want more ride height but you have to reduce the suspension, that will make the car sit exactly as low while increasing the separation from the wheel to the car.
