SOLVED Advanced Steering Fix for recent patch

Good day all, I hope you are all well(well, the people who found this).

I have found that the mod 'advancedsteering' to be the best for making the controller feel better than default(I use the Winx controller), and in the recent patch, some of the errors I have found is that the mod in question appears to be broken and will not activate, some maps that I have downloaded are no longer there, etc..., However, Through some snooping around in the files of the game, I found a file in the mod directory, 'db.json' and, opening the file in a text editor like vscode or even better...neovim...scrolling down where the above mentioned mod is shown in the file, changing the "active":false to "active":true, will fix the problem, just reload the game and you should be drifting like a tofu man.
