AI Traffic does not respawn when using vehicles I spawn in myself

I have been having this issue for a while now, and am wondering if there are any answers to this. The AI traffic works normally with the vehicles the game automatically spawns in when using the Traffic Tool in the center wheel. But whenever I try to replace those vehicles with something different or try to spawn in separate vehicles and enable traffic, the cars will no longer automatically respawn and will just drive around in circles endlessly. Is there a fix to this?

 

Are you clicking “random”? If so thats why.
You need to click “start traffic”

 

Ahhh, thank you. I was clicking traffic, but I wasn't clicking start traffic. Thanks for the help
