Heyy so I recently made a pretty neat discovery when playing beam's career mode.
I had parked my van in one side of the road, occupying a bit of the lane, but still with plenty of room to pass through. However, when I looked back to where the van was, there was a huge line of AI cars waiting for me to move. They did not honk, they just sat there and waited for me to clear the road, a pretty common move for the AI.

Now, here's the interesting thing: I decided to come over them in walking mode, and right when I jumped on top of the first's car roof, it suddenly started moving and perfectly avoiding my van made its way through the road. The next car just moved forward where the previous car was and waited again. I did the exact same thing and so did it, perfectly calculating the path around the van. I tested this a few more times and it always gave the exact same result.
In this video attached here you can see this recorded example of what I'm talking about.

What I see here, is a lot of potential for the AI not being used. It seems like the thing that triggers the AI to start doing RayTracing calculations for its path isn't being triggered at all for some reason, and it only starts doing so when you jump on top of the cars for another weird reason.

The AI is capable enough of figuring out really complex situations but it just seems like something's blocking them to do so.

I have also tested this in other scenarios and the AI does indeed kind of like wake up and start moving but sometimes it might also go crazy and ram the cars in front...

I hope this helps to understand a bit more how the AI works and improve for the future
