Just another idea whizzing through my head as I was playing this game; Maybe it would be possible to have AI traffic in a map in a way other games do it, as in they spawn near you, then despawn in the distance, and in the options menu of the game you could change the density from 1 to 5 or so AI depending on how well your computer can handle this. Another suggestion would be if the model of the AI vehicle were to spawn and appear to drive around, and when you get near it its physics kick in so there could be that physical interaction we all love about BeamNG. Would this be possible further down the line?

didn't search hard enough. search button. All I had to do was search title only for"traffic". There's alot more threads of it too that don't have it in the title. Pretty sure there's one on page 1 of the suggestions forum although its your job to check this not mine
I didnt look into the others yet, but every single thread tells something thats a good thing too add. Like here, he said: Despawn in the distance. IDK if its mentioned in the other threads too because I didnt look into those yet, but every thread has new ideas. But it still would be a better idea to make it all in one thread, thats right.
