AI traffic with police not working after 0.34

The 'AI traffic with police' no longer works after 0.34 update for me. If I click it, it just spawns normal traffic without any police. I have launched the game in safe mode and it has worked, but in normal launch it doesn't work, even after I cleared the cache.

I have removed any configurations in-game that have light bars, as I thought those older configs would mess with the code and stop it from working, but I removed them and it still didn't spawn the police in. I also took all of my mods out of my 'mods' folder in the game files, which did nothing, so it's not down to old mods (they were automatically disabled by the update anyway).

Any help would be appreciated, but it seems to be only me experiencing this problem (after 0.34 at least - this was working perfectly fine in 0.33). Thanks!

 

you can replace npc by police cars
