-CANCELLED DUE TO LOSING ALL DATA ON MY HARD DRIVE- Hi, I present you with my second map, temporarily named Airfield Islands! My motivation for this was that I have been enjoying playing around with the Helicopter and Plane mods the past few days and thought that there isn't too many Maps with Airfields (not that I have seen at least). I decided I would create a thread for this now to keep updates on the map's progress as school starts tomorrow and I won't have as much time to work on it, so it could be a while until this is fully finished because it is going to be a lot more work than my previous small map. There are some progress screenshots below, there is a lot of work to be done, but I will try to keep a check list of what to do below. I made the Hangers, Air traffic control building and Heli pads from scratch using Google Sketchup (I would really like to learn how to model buildings with Blender if someone could link me a good tutorial that would be great). Check-List Green = Finished Orange = Partly done Red = No progress -Terrain and road Smoothing -Airfield -Small Town -Bridges - More to be added soon...
