Airplanes not working

I recently downloaded a couple of mods that added airplanes, and put the .zip files in my mods folder, but when I go in-game, none of the airplanes show up in the vehicles list! I was looking at the vehicle type and saw that the only options for vehicles were Car, Prop, and Truck. Does this mean that aircraft of any kind won't work? Or am I just missing something completely obvious? Thanks in advance!

 

Which planes? Make sure you're installing them correctly. Some may need to be installed differently. http://www.beamng.com/threads/12872-Guide-to-mod-installation-for-0-4-0-6-and-up

 

I've installed these:
Cuban-800-(GTA-5)
Cessna-172-Skyhawk-V4-Updated-for-Experimental

And I haven't seen much about them needing to be installed differently.

I've fixed this! Apparently some files got messed up at a random time, because just for fun I tried the "Verify Integrity of Game Files" function in steam and found that 5 files were corrupt! If anybody is having a similar problem, go ahead and try this!
