Looks amazing! So to summarize it. You achieve these results in 0.25 by using your SSAO mod and that other fixed bloom and auto exposure mod. As well as to mess around in the world editor? Maybe I should pay you to make thumbnails for my youtube videos
Thats about right, im hopefully releasing a vid soon on how to achieve the same result so yoou wont have to pay me If there is one it autoinstall, if there isnt one you dont need it Cant remember what i did in AL18 atm
Currently compiling the vid on how to make BeamNG look like this Its not the usual AL way of just installing something but had acouple of people ask me so i thought i might aswell show How-To.
WOW just-just wo-wow with the realism of the graphics --- Post updated --- Is it heavy to run though?
FANCY BeamNG for 0.25, instructions below: Ive received alot of questions about this shot: So i decided to make an instructions vid for it: For those that want to use my light gradient textures and SSAO mod all in one they can be found in the attached zip file. Ive also included the Small Island settings so that you are ready to do the Renderer Components settings. Drag and drop the folders from that zip into your C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.25 - folder and then delete the Temp folder. For the Bloom and Autoexposure fix it can be found here: https://beamng.com/threads/fixed-bloom-and-auto-exposure-postfx.87100/ Hope youll like it and good luck on finding your preferred settings
Looks SO realistic, but of course with realistic graphics you get 10 fps drop lol. But overall its looks really realistic. Thanks for sharing it too btw
So just a question, all the settings that we changed in the world editor, need to be changed again if we change map, right?
Sorry for not responding to you quicker! Yes a slight fps drop but a good gain in looks The Renderer Components settings will stay until you restart BeamNG. It will however drop the Color Correction setting if Photo Mode is entered so that will need to be repeated in that case. The Sky/Sun settings will need to be repeated for whatever track you want to use it in, however it will be saved so you wont need to repeat that (BeamNG saves maps changes in the "levels" folder in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.25 - folder)
Yes but all maps arent as good composed as Small Island and Industrial so the reuslt wont be as impressive. Its part of the zip but it can also be found here https://www.beamng.com/threads/ssao-mod-ssao-changes-in-photo-mode-stays-ingame.84125/
Will other maps eventually be added? Utah and Hirochi raceway are my 2 main maps and would be great to have them included at some point! Fantastic work by the way, hopefully the devs see the reaction from this and maybe make these sort of settings stock.
