All automatic breaking

I posted about this in the update post but thought I'd put it here

I've started the game in safe mode (and normal with mods it doesn't change), loaded up blank map (or any map), load any Automatic car, press the left trigger for brakes (360 controller) let off, and then shift to (D)rive with the A button and press right trigger for throttle, the car will not shift out of 1st gear anymore, even shifting to 2nd wont work. This also breaks the Dct but you will be able to shift using the m1-m5 gears.

can anyone else confirm this issue happening with their version?

 

that fixed it, but I dont see why is was still doing it in safe mode
