    All vehicles with 5 and 6 lug wheel varients and the windshield shatters like the windows under enough force

    In the case of the windshield, they are designed to stay together, even after shattering. Here are some examples.

    Vehicles haven't always used laminated glass (although they have for a very long time). If Drive ever gets an official prewar car (eventually I am sure we will) the factory windshield may not be laminated glass.
