Here are some early screenshots of a map, my first for BeamNG, that I'm working on. I'm using this map to get a handle on the editor and to see what it can and cannot do. Still needs a lot of work. Re: Dirt Ridge Run Started work on it again. Smoothed some tracks out, added a new tarmac/dirt hybrid track. I plan to switch to modeling and adding trees and whatnot to the track for a beta.
Re: Dirt Ridge Run Haven't been able to work on this map for a while... but I laid out plans for a new one at work. I'll leave the download up and if anyone wants to customize it credit DrowsySam. I have the editor figured out now... the only pita in my way is l3dt which I can't seem to get to do what I want. Sapphire's limited zoom level makes it a pita to do it manually - which I'd prefer anyway. Urgh... Raged yesterday after work when it wouldn't let me change export file type... 10 minutes of and I realize I had yet to generate the height map. Derp. In my defense I'm sleep deprived by way of the 3rd shift. Thanks : ) I shall, however, on a new map. EDIT: I must add that I had a dream that someone told me the mud shows up red (no texture). Which it does occasionally on load. Strange.
