Hey guys, Purchased the alpha demo week and half ago. Kudos to the dev team, BeamNG is unreal ! love it ! Three days into a new custom level that takes place in an Alpine location with lots of offroad and paved highway driving. Lots of new custom content. This level for me is more of a getting aquainted with the Torque3d World Editor and my fave new toy, BeamNG Drive! Alpine Route is quite large and at this point is about 80% complete! Shooting for a release within a week! 1 pic for now (will add more pics as level progresses) Cheers! Update#1: Dec 6, 2013 New trees (low poly) and many new models/textures! Re: [WIP] Alpine Route Hey, thanks for the nice response, glad you guys like it ! The mountains are a custom skybox model. Essentially a large cylinder with a hi-res tileable custom texture.
Re: [WIP] Alpine Route Wow, that picture looks unreal it's so awesome! I'd love to see this beautiful map in BeamNG. Just make sure to test the map and make sure that the water has some density to it, the textures are all correct in game so nothing gets an orange "No material" all over it, and it doesn't lag too badly with all the trees and high resolution models. Re: [WIP] Alpine Route Hey, Ya, I modelled those trees. They're not high poly, which is why i was able to get so many in! Before releasing this, I will drop the level into a clean/fresh build to check for missing stuff.

Ultra I need some new screenshots of this gorgeous map! Your mountains in the background gave me some solid ideas for my map.
