Alternative Paint.net

    Does anyone knows a free alternative to paint.net. I'm currently trying to (re)make a bmw z4 gt3 (a better etk k trackday, but with official mods), and i need to open the skin file to create the skin (german heritage livery isn't cutting it for me)

    What exactly are you trying to do?

    The only good other free alternative is GIMP, though it can be tricky to learn if you're already used to Paint.NET or Paint.

    One, the windows store charges 4 dollars for the windows 10 version
    Two, i want to make a skin but cant open the dds file

    Not free, but I use Adobe Photoshop 2018, and with a dds plugin I can edit everything

    Pretty sure this problem has been sorted out already but you can go to the official paint.net website and get it for free there.
    I'd recommend trying it, it's really good.
