Them birds can be tad loud at times, can't really recall hearing much of great tit singing during driving a car sensibly and certainly not when driving like a loony, but that is WIP still, they will balance things when they get all the bells and whistles going. I do like ambient sounds though, just turn off the engine at JRI and just keep listening, bugs flying about and around, all sorts of sounds that create so much life to that world. After a crash when dust settles and noises calm down, you heard all that ambient sounds, it is really nice effect.
It should not be as loud to drive anybody crazy. Can you record a video so we can hear what you are hearing? If you have any mods, disable them first.
