AMD Problems

Hey guys,

I'm not really asking to report a problem because it's already known, but I'm wondering if I could get some insight on why so many maps have problems with AMD hardware? I don't quite understand the limitation or why it does that. Can I get a link or a post? Sorry to be quick about it and not searching, my time is limited today.

 

This probably wont help you, but I haven't had a problem with a single map. Running a 7770 and beta 13.8. What are some maps that have issues so I can see what you mean?

Just to name a few that don't work. It either has materials missing or just crashes.

None work right for me and other AMD users.
13.8 beta here also, will update to 13.10 beta and see if that does anything.

Notifies me that it fails to create resources, then the only thing that is loaded is the spawn area, and nothing around it.

 

I have the same problem. I don't really understand why it does this either :/

 

I have a 7970 and have not have any problems, many it have with how old the card is?

 

My card isn't even a year old. I will have had it for a year at the end of November.

 

I have an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330, and it has the same problems that most of you have, but on a much smaller scale. For example, the only problem with the Top Gear test track is the fact that for the sprouting grass, I get the no materials problem.
