There was a mod for this a while back but I don't think it works anymore. You can use the airspeed app, but it measures in a different unit than mph. I thought it would be a good idea to have one integrated into the tachometer app as an option. Like the rev counter but on an outside or inside ring. Anyway, just a thought that came to mind.
Yeah, I also use the interior camera, but when I use the orbit camera I thought it would look nicer to have an analogue speedometer. Because, as with the speedometer on the inside, you can see how fast you are going in relation to the top speed etc. Something the devs might add in to a later update.
