Hi, I'm new here. I have some models in blender ready to export to beamng. Is it possible to export animated geometry with a collision mesh? I'm thinking about a custom animated spinner. But, when I export the model, the collision mesh does not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Unfortunately, BeamNG doesn't support animated collision meshes. You can have animated objects with static ones, but that's about it. I've been looking into ways to circumvent this for a while, but haven't had much luck
You don't even need to mod to see that. Just take a look at the oil/petrol exploitation in west coast
The animation systems are really lacking atm, we are looking into improving those, but no promise on when we get to that :-/
