Howdy. I asked this question years ago and had some responses: https://www.beamng.com/threads/are-rotators-implemented.5391/ Now that several years and updated releases have gone by, I'd like to know whether the answer still stands; I'm trying to find a solution to building a forklift with wheels that can steer more than 90 degrees in either direction and normal hydros just don't cut it as once the wheels go past a certain angle they don't want to come back the right way again. Any joy? Thanks
I don't know how this is achieved in real life but I believe you could build a similar structure with jbeam. I can easily think of a few solutions.
To get smooth 360 degree rotation with a linear response? I'm talking about movement like the ring gear on a tank or a crane, or to steer wheels beyond the angles permitted by a hydro even with some sort of bell crank system
