So fairly recently I was introduced to disc (frisbee) golf. It's a pretty fun game especially since by me a lot of the courses also involve a pretty good hike. Wondering if I'm the only one on here who has/does play this sport? My only problem is it is sort of expensive especially since in regular golf terms your club and ball are the same thing and if you lose it that's both gone at once. I managed to lose one of mine on the first hole of a course I hadn't played before and the damn thing was pink so idk how we couldn't find it.
Name pretty much explains it, although instead of a "hole" it's a basket with chains. Also the frisbees are a little different from a standard frisbee. But otherwise it's exactly like golf. One difference is what are called Mandos, which is a throw you must make around a specific obstacle because it would be too easy otherwise. Not sure if those sorts of restrictions exist in golf. And it probably is a bit more of an American thing, although there are 36 courses in the UK. Apparently it's a Finnish thing too. Clicking around on the interactive map on the site in the link shows lots and lots of courses in Finland.
