Im thinking to make a mod and need a good guide on how to make a mod.

Yes, you can, but there is a lot of jbeaming knowledge required as well and texturing knowledge too. My advice is, if you want to make any mod at all, I would start with a terrain, as they are easier to work with and don't take a whole lot of time as compared with vehicles.
