(Short and sweet) Is there a way to reduce the distance it takes for beamlimitspring/ damp/ ect to ramp up or eliminate the ramp up altogether?

    (Long question)
Hey guys, been working hard on baja parts for everyones favorite jeep look alike. And ive gotten far the suspesion Jbeams are 95% done.
But i noticed something and i read it else where hoping it was not true but sadly it is, beamlimit(insert term here) applys its value over a meter....a whole meter, so unless i set my values to stupid high numbers i get no meanigful affect.
So i tried support beams in some cases and that just seemd to make things unstable,
Now im trying somrthing with precompresion Values less then 1.0 and seeing if i can use normal spring and damp values to get the same effects.

So my question is, is there any way to get limit properties to ramp up sooner. Maybe a property you can change or a few lines of code that can change it for only some beams.
