I'm getting anxious about it with the wheels exploding on most of my mods. I haven't been playing much recently because of this and I really want it fixed.
Just be patient. The Beam.ng team is obviously still working on the update. We are all anxious, but we can't keep begging for an update. It's not how it works.
Ive been stalking the dev blog every 30 min or so for the past week. All i can say is stay tuned. But im hyped, so let me just check the dev blog again, hoping that the next update is released.
We already have a thread for this type of thing, no need to keep making new ones. http://www.beamng.com/threads/update-speculation-thread.20246/
Yes, we will try to hit the release window today. No promises though, we still have some bad bugs that we need to fix before. So, standard release time frame is usually Friday around 6 PM (germany time). This is what we work towards to every week.
We've never been told in advance when an update will be with the exception of the time tdev posted about writing the change list. The best bet to get advanced notice is to watch both the screenshot thread and the dev micro blog thread, and even then there is no gaurentee that they'll say something. We don't know when it will be any more than you do, and the devs aren't going to chime in on these threads to let us in on it. It could be this weekend or several months from now, you just have to be patient. We're all looking forward to it, but the only thing that you can do is check frequently and speculate on the designated thread. EDIT: Well I'll be damned lol, I ate my words literally immediately. Thanks Tdev.
you know, we don't know either. If we have bugs like left clicking with the mouse crashes the game (which was fixed some days ago) - we surely do not want to release that
I love the dev team team. Their commitment to releasing Friday evening is awesome, as it gives everyone time to play over the weekend, and its released just in time for everyone getting out of work/school. But it also means that they will likely have to stay up all night and work the weekend, fixing bugs that they may not have discovered in QA. You guys really do care about us, so much. Thank you.
They haven't committed to releasing this evening - they said they might be able to. Really though a few more days won't make a difference if there are bugs to be sorted.
I know for a fact the Speedo/Tacho meter is being patched so it wont appear to super over rev if you exceed the redline on the dial
