Well, the title says it all, anyone notice that recently many video games have been given a movie interpretation? Let's see, there was DOOM, a Halo movie. . .sort of, a few Resident evils, A world of Warcraft movie, an Assassins creed movie. . . I am sure there are more. My point is that Half life was a groundbreaking game in so many ways, and had such a good story that it would make a excellent movie. So who else is excited that there is a very slight possibility that a Half Life movie will eventually come out?
You can say that again. . . Seriously though, from what I heard, J.J Abrams had a meeting with Valve concerning a Half Life movie, so that gives me some hope that if a Half Life movie ever does come out, it will be somewhat well made. Half Life is also just about my favorite game of all time, I don't mean to nerd out on you or anything, but I literally know that game better than the back of my hand.
not really possibility when it's pretty much all but confirmed now, heck, there's even IMDB pages for both a half-life movie and a portal movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3347342/?ref_=fn_al_tt_2 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2697668/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1
IMDB pages are hardly a confirmation when they still have a page for a supposed sequel to the 2003 Italian Job and one of the actors supposedly in the film even said "somebody should just erase it from IMDB..." and that it doesn't even exist.
ok, don't trust imdb then? here's tons more sources all confirming it's coming: http://www.ign.com/articles/2016/03/12/jj-abrams-portal-half-life-movies-still-happening https://www.vg247.com/2016/03/14/j-j-abrams-half-life-portal-movies/ http://screenrant.com/portal-half-life-movie-update-writers-jj-abrams/ http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertc...nd-half-life-movies-still-exist/#ec4799f257ef http://www.pcgamer.com/jj-abrams-working-on-both-portal-and-half-life-movies/ http://www.slashfilm.com/portal-movie/ take your pick really the only people who haven't confirmed it are valve themselves, but valve isn't exactly one for announcing anything really these days
More sources like that is fair enough, I'm just warning that an IMDB page existing for something doesn't mean it's real on its own.
