Anyone figured out the Flowgraph yet?

Apparently if I don't have raw code in front of me, scripting interfaces don't make any sense to me.

I went on Hirochi Raceway, make a little circuit with path nodes, segments (all attached) and a start position, and saved it. I then loaded the Racepath Demo flowgraph and changed the string to point to my race file, but when I click "Start Execution" the race doesn't start. Any ideas as to why it doesn't work? I don't really understand the logic of the Flowgraph at all.
