Is anyone working on or know where I can get a high quality WIP release of a mid-late 2000's Toyota FJ Cruiser mod for free ideally in the blue with white top paint scheme or at least with a collorable roof & body? We used to have an 07 FJ Cruiser & it was one of the best off-road SUVs we ever owned. I would like to see one as high quality as the 4Runner mod only with openable doors hood & rear door. I'm considering making the mod myself as my first ever BeamNG mod if nobody else is or wants to & once I learn more about making a high quality mod which will be 100% free if I do.
That is a lot to ask for, there is a 4runner mod in the threads somewhere, made by JorgePinto; but I have to advise that making all of that for the cruiser yourself and you are a beginner is not something the top modders would recommend, and you will most likely give up on it. Start small, like an accessory or don't even do anything with beamng, learn the basics of blender and such.
Yeah, I know. I just started to learn about creating mod vehicles & am also starting to get the hang of Blender. Good thing is I got lots of time on my hands to start a high quality mod but I do have lots to learn first. I think a high quality FJ Cruiser mod with JBeam features would be my crowning achievement in my new hobby of 3D modeling. I also did get & try out that 4Runner mod. That guy did amazing work on it. Shame he's no longer modding.
Eventually yes if/when I get started. I will create a separate WIP thread for it if I do. I still have tons of stuff to learn & practice on before I start a high quality mod.
