Anyone know why the sea is brown?

    I just ran the updater and the sea around small island USA is now brown. There is also black lines where ever i look underwater, they look a little like the no texture texture but stretched but i think that's just because of the colour.

    Strange thing is the updater doesn't work now. It checks the files and then nothing happens.

    mmm, missing texture? Dirty water? I don't know...

    Ok seriously, check the ocean settings, I think you can change the colour there.

    You can change settings there but there are more than a few, it would be pretty long winded to get back to the original settings. I think will probably have to do a full BeamNG re download at some point and start fresh again. This installation is really messed up after all the stuff that happened on day 1. Its like a Frankenstein that has been sourced from 4 different sources. Im just surprised this update turned the water brown :p

    Any fix of this problem?
    I played with terrain editor (and i did not touch any things connected with water), after that i loaded Small Island for drive and saw brown water.
    I ran an updater and it did water a very very dark blue. Almost black.

    The water's been super dark blue since 0.3.1. I suspect it may have something to do with the proper day/night cycle the map has now, as the other map with one (cliff) also has really dark water but DRI on the old, fragmented TOD system has more blue water.

    The map had a missing depthGradientTex for the water, it was fixed in an update a couple of days ago.

    If the water is dark blue, you probably have lowest shader quality, which doesn't render live reflections.

    Well, since i restarted my computer the updater has started working again and the textures have been fixed. Thanks for the help. Feel free to use this thread for other too
