Judging by the screenshot, the whole skin fails to load for you. Possibly a syntax error in the JBeam, I'm verifying it in a moment. Did you make any modification to the archive, or do you have any add-ons that could be conflicting? --- Post updated --- He can't, I'm reuploading the file with the "seering" steering fix.
I bet I know what it is. Ill report back! Yup, I fixed it. It's because I replaced the new material.cs with my old material.cs with my flag coding.
Ah, that explains it. You had the JBeam part of the skin, but no materials defined for it. Now, I suggest you put all your flags in a separate "pack" using subfolders, so that your add-on doesn't end up broken after each subsequent update.
d-series not working for me. tried both fixed and old version. --- Post updated --- cleared cache too.
I updated the file, but couldn't test it. Something could be wrong with it, I'll check it out as soon as I return home.
Cleared cache, downloaded a fresh copy of the mod from page 1 (RC2b) and downloaded a fresh copy of 'dseries_30_fix.zip' from the original post (I've deleted the original 'dseries_30' file from my post so there's no confusion), started the mod and works fine for me. Please be sure that the unfixed file is not in your mod directory as it could be causing a conflict. Edit: confirmed, if you have both the 'dseries_30.zip' and 'dseries_30_fix.zip' in your mods folder it breaks it, works fine with only the fixed file installed
The two files are meant for two different revisions of the mod. The original one posted by @acapaldi works with any 3.0 version before today's RC2b, I left it there just in case. The "fixed" one, on the other hand, is only meant for 3.0 RC2b. You don't need both, just one, or the other. Sorry for the confusion.
I noticed the GDTL, WF7 Escalade, and Demented Bull skins don't work any more. Is this due to the 3.0 RC2b update?
yea, gonna update them this weekend. all of them need to have CRDTest changed to just CRD. it's just gonna be time consuming is all and to make sure they work
Feedback on the new engine soundtable, please? I couldn't reproduce the issues that were reported, but I believe the new table could have fixed most if not all of them. Next step would be the replacement of the existing soundclips with something more realistic. Thanks.
What about the sound clips? The revisions to the soundtable also made the engine sound more "artificial", IMO.
there is a slight difference. when you let off the throttle, it revs down very quickly. not sure if that's by design or not, but i like it. makes the revving i i do in mid air more prominent.
A couple new things coming Soon™: - Working RII lights. - On-screen Input Maps. - Metallic paint for RetroBigfoot 10.
