Playing the destroy the moonhawk scenario a lot got me thinking about adding "armored" parts to vehicles. Armored parts would be a separate selectable part, and would be a lot stronger and less likely to bend but heavier and much more expensive. These parts would be good for takedown missions similar to destroy the moonhawk, and would increase the vehicle's survivability but as a downside decrease the speed and handling. For example, the Roamer would have selectable parts such as "Armored suspension" (wheel struts less likely to snap, shocks less likely to break, etc.), "Armored chassis" (a stronger chassis, less likely to snap the drive shaft or throw vehicle alignment out), and "Armored body" (a braced engine bay would take less damage). Each of these parts would be considerably more expensive to put on your vehicle, and attempting to have all three armored variants on would make the vehicle ludicrously slow to the point where winning the takedown mission is nearly impossible, even with the highest engine and tuning. Just an idea for the future.
Would be cool if it would depend on the difficulty of the scenario the player choose. Example: in easy mode the player as the armored part, Medium mode nobody as them, hard mode the opponent have them.
