Bought the game today and wanted to get started modding.. So I downloaded a few modded vehicles put them in the correct location (asettocorsa>content>cars) as folders booted the game up vehicles shows up in the main menu just fine.. once I start the sim it loads the track then gets to the car and that's when the game throws the error "ACS.EXE has stopped working" and the game reverts back to the main start screen. I downloaded vehicles known to work on 1.0 Looked on the interwebs for help and I found threads stating to open "asseto_corsa.ini" and change [ASSETTO_CORSA] SLEEP_TIME=-1 WARNINGS_AS_ERRORS=1 from to 0 still crashes when loading mod vehicles Verified cache on steam etc Version 1.1 Windows 8.1 64 bit Thanks in advance
Looked trough the AC forum didn't find a "fix" that worked for me sadly and I do have a thread up on the AC forum so lets see what the support says. I thought I would post here also to see if anybody had/has this issue also and a fix. Thanks though
V1.1 introduced some new features that the modded cars have to be updated to support, so that's why your mods don't work. Some of them have hotfixes on their threads on the AC forums though, like the 787B.
