assets browser stuck loading forever

hi, noob here, so im trying to edit small island USA and have some fun and mess around, but a while back i downloaded highdefs template pack, since then whenever i open the asset browser, its empty and stuck on loading assets< if i refresh it i jumps a little bit higher, until it passes 100% and keeps going, the assets never show up or load, so i deleted the game and deleted everything related to it i can think of, from mods to files and etc..... and even updated to 0.30.2, but still the assets wont load, not on a single map official or mod, plz help me, idk how to fix this
