Hey guys. As most of you know, the Steam summer sale is going. And Assetto Corsa is on sale, earlier today it was 30% off. Now it's 50% off. (for 40 hours) Just wondering if you guys think I should buy it now, or wait till the end of the sale and see if there's a better deal. (I'm going to buy two copies so the sale helps a lot) Thoughts?
I will bet you one copy of The Long Dark that Assetto Corsa will get no better than -50%, buy now I think, but you have 43 hours to choose.
I think it's a good grab even at 50% off. By the way, I recommend buying it along with the Dream Pack 1 DLC as it is only a couple euros more expensive and the standalone DLC costs around 15€ so you are getting some extra cars for much less than usual.
I've got it on sale too, a month ago I think, one weekend. Totally worth it! very mod friendly, damage physics SUCKS, but the driving model feels realistic. Just don't crash anything and it's fine
I've played nearly 500 hours of Assetto Corsa. it's not quite as good (well, "glitzy") as Project Cars, but if you like racing, it's a solid simulator.
Definitely get it, it's such an awesome simulator. Would recommend a wheel though, or a game-pad at least.. Edit: You have a G27? Buy it now then.

For anyone who is thinking about buying Assetto Corsa buy it while its on sale its a awesome simulator. I bought it at regular price and play it everyday and enjoy every second of it.
Assetto Corsa is amazing. Just... amazing. But you havw to enjoy simulators, this not for you if you prefer the easier arcades. And I'd recommend a wheel, personally I found it impossible to enjoy the game with a controller or keyboard, since you are nowhere near complete control. The control you need to catch a drift in time so you don't run out of track e.g.
Yes I have to agree with you. You need a wheel. Luckily I have one! I bought two copies and it was worth it.
