Hi guys! I wanted to make this thread to post updates on a project I've been working on over the last week. I have been 3D modelling the new Atlanta Motor Speedway from scratch to use in Beam! Atlanta is one of my favorite NASCAR tracks, so I have wanted to make one for BeamNG for a long time! Currently, the track base, some of the lines, and the base of the infield are finished! I plan to start working on adding all the lines and working on adding the roads in the infield within the next couple days. I have no planned release date for this, so please don't ask. Also, I will be periodically adding photos to the thread to show any progress updates I have made! Here are some photos of my progress so far!
Thanks! I have really wanted to do this for a long time, so I am glad I have finally gotten around to doing it!
I did some work on the pit lines! Now all I have to do is add the Restart zone, then I can begin working on adding stuff to the infield!
I finished the Restart Zone! I believe I have finished al of the lines on the track, so now I will start working on adding roads and buildings to the infield next!
it's always nice to see another Nascar track were missing get made for beam, and so far it's looking really good!
I have been working on some aesthetics for the track! I added the painted lines that border all the grass on the track along with the distance markers for pit road, and now I'm going to start adding more of the wall sponsors, and the turn logos!
Because it is slightly angled due to the straightaway's 5-degree banking. I also think the way I took the photo makes it look worse. --- Post updated --- I have started work on the grandstands!
I have added billboards and some roads to the middle of the track! Next, I'll add all the buildings!! I also added the logos right before the pit lane!
