Now that there's gear grinding damage in the game for manual transmissions, it would be great to have parts of the automatic transmission that can break, overheat, etc. Like if you tow something too heavy for the transmission after awhile the clutches or the tranny oil could burn up. And if you slam it into park going too fast, the park pawl could break and you would lose Park. Just a thought
You would be hard pressed to break the park pin as most of them are like sprinh loaded. I've seen an 84 chev coast down the road at 40 mph in park and the pin just went "duh-duh-duh-duh-duh...." etc... Suppoaedly it helps knock gunk loose when you do that, but that's just what I was told. Aside from that, good ideas.
