Autobello Nuova Piccolina 1981-1991This is a little refresh of the Piccolina that me and @DamienDutch have been working on for a while now. What was first just a few custom configs became an idea for a nice mod that would add some cool stuff for the legendary italian hatch. So far this mods adds 2 brand new engines along with modernized versions of the current engines. That includes modern long block, carburetors, customizable rev limiter, an exhaust that makes the car more city friendly thanks to less noise and emissions. Handy addition for the 110, 130 and 150 engines is the factory oil cooler which helps the car cope with long routes at higher speeds and even some sporty driving. Spoiler: Torque curves 70 90 110 130 150 Another update included in the refresh is the strengthened body chassis and a strong fuel tank to help the driver and passengers in life-threatening scenarios. 75kmh head on collision comparison: Spoiler: Lore After Autobello took the outdated Piccolina off the market, their sales started to slowly drop. They managed to fill that with other models, but still saw the potential in the classic simple Piccolina. In late 70s the final decision was made, the Piccolina will return to production with refreshed parts. Body was stiffened to perform better in accidents. All engines got a rebuild to fit modern standards and 2 new engines were added with economy and simplicity in mind. Exterior parts switched from the long oudated chrome accents to modern stylish painted and plastic parts. The Nuova Piccolina was introduced with a couple new trims to choose from: Inizio The entry level configuration. Made to be as inexpensive as possible to appeal to buyers who don't want to spend too much money on a car. This trim is availible with the newly introduced simple 0.7 and 0.9 carbureted engines paired to a 4 speed manual. StileThe main trim. Made for those who aren't looking for any special features, this model will satisfy with the full range of engines to pick from. Prima The luxury trim. Those who enjoy the classic chrome-y looks should definitely consider the Prima. The car will be enjoyable not just to drive, but to look at. Comes with special chrome styling and whitewall tires as standard. Viaggio The roadtrip trim. A great choice for travellers. This trim can prove that even small cars are capable of taking you on a nice vacation without limiting luggage space or comfort. Coming with a spacious roofbox, a tow hitch for your caravan and stiffer rear suspension that can keep the car from sitting down after getting fully loaded up. Medaglia The sport trim. Those who like some adrenaline should not miss out on this new trim. This trim offers fun and performance for a price of an average sedan. The alloy wheels and wider rear fenders give this car a stylish sporty look. Thanks to it's special sport tires and widened front suspension you can rush through turns without even touching the brake pedal. The 1.5L dual carburetor engine will make sure you get to your desired speed in no time. Help with modelling needed (debadged hubcaps, plastic parts, interior,...) if you can help you will be mentioned in the credits. ah yes something that will conflict with my last edition piccolina's lore, and this is the wrong category, thread should be in mods and skins
No it shouldn't. And what about lore? Can there only be one fictional thing based on another fictional thing?
Sounds interesting. Where did you put the oil cooler? I'm guessing under the engine considering there are no new vents on the model. If so arent you worried it will be easily damaged on bumps and the like?
Very nice!! Will something get modified on body or parts? For example, new bumpers, front/rear facelift
thanks! currently it's in the front, but it's clipping through the body so once we figure that out the placement might change --- Post updated --- thanks! that is planned but we first need to find someone who could help us with it
Well i thought this category is just for entirely new cars, not a config pack/parts pack for one, correct me if im wrong No but i guess people is gonna get confused lol
i think that that the mods don't overlap much, after Autobello discontinued the successful Piccolina C and last edition the sales started dropping badly so they brought it back into production with a minorchange generation
we don't have that planned, but the piccolina last edition mod has a 2 strokethis mod is more focused on the better modern parts
idk if it could be cool but hacing the hinges inside and the vents being smaller/removed would look more modern
