WIP Autobello Stretto Remake progress

Hey, just putting my two cents, but would the Stretto have varying configurations, such as what ZGR mentioned, being non-widebody configs, and maybe (if the car meets the regulations, and more down the line) a Gr.5 or earlier config?

 

yeah, there will be various motorsport configs including rally and group 5 and trackday configs. I probably will end up making a non-widebody config

Small progress update:

fixed interior texture




added more detail to engine bay:



… and I am working on the rear quarter panels being changeable to choose between widebody and non-widebody fenders.




suspension is also set up now





only small improvements this week because I didn't have much time

Good luck with this project, I'm sure you will do great. A suggestion, I think it is a vehicle that deserves its "van" version, that is, with covered windows and no seats in the back.

 

It's been about a month since ive posted on this thread
No, I haven't forgot about this mod, it's just that nothing since then has been interesting enough to post about yet.
Ive just been modeling things like body panels and making parts for the stretto

some new info about the car (could be subject to change)
1.It will be equipped with a flat-4 engine (maybe even a flat-6 too? because it could definitely fit in the engine bay)
2.I'ts going to stay mid engine only. It's too much hassle to make a front engine version and it would make it too normal, and it wouldn't be as fun to drive
3.There may be a "sloped back" version like a Honda CRX. the roof style will be changed through a part slot, not through the unibody slot, creating the opportunity for convertible configs

Dont want to bump but is it dead? Sounds like the aria will be the only hatch from autobello from the 70's and 80's. If not , wish you Łuck with the progress!

 

Im looking forward to it, rn the mods really rough but I hope you put some time and effort into this bc it could be really cool when done well

Yeah I'm gonna bump a bit too. A lot of textures are currently broken.
