Ok, since newer vehicles are implementing "skip shift" strategies into their (TCM/TCU) shift strategies fo 7+ speed transmissions.

Why not implement this into beam for the newer vehicles (ex ETK?) for vehicleController.

It would be very helpful, with cruising or aggressive up/downshifting it could be tied into the aggression factor or its own separate parameter.

    Not really worth the trouble...
Ironically, the reference cars for the modern ETKs specifically don't do this :D
I haven't seem them skip gears on upshifts, it's always sequential (I was surprised myself, didn't expect that)

That was a "modern" example lol , it wasn't the best I must say.. a better example would have been the 10R80 10 - Speed from Ford/GM.

    Also @Diamondback

What's needed to config the newly added "torque loss" new addition during shifts in 0.10.01?

use shiftEfficiency in the gearbox definition (not vehicleController) default value is 0.5 (1 = 100% power transfer during shift)

    Thanks @Goosah

Saw it in some jbeams but I wasn't sure if it was the right parameter or not. :)
