Beamng is amazing, but alas its automatic transmission -in my opinion- is not. when in automatic / arcade mode, or shifting into 'D' from an H-shifter (realistic mode then?) all automatic transmissions hit the rev limiter before shifting, unlike most cars which max out at 3,000RPM *to my knowledge*. i understand why you need it like this, so people who don't have steering wheels and don't want to shift gears on a keyboard can still reach maximum RPM, so maybe there can be three options? Manual, Automatic, and Arcade? thanks! -Acrain7
the auto transmission shifts at an appropriate rpm based on throttle response. It shifts at a lower rpm if you put less pressure on the accelerator pedal. Like in a real car
