Automatic Transmission that actually shifts at normal rpm? :)

Beamng is amazing, but alas its automatic transmission -in my opinion- is not. when in automatic / arcade mode, or shifting into 'D' from an H-shifter (realistic mode then?) all automatic transmissions hit the rev limiter before shifting, unlike most cars which max out at 3,000RPM *to my knowledge*.

i understand why you need it like this, so people who don't have steering wheels and don't want to shift gears on a keyboard can still reach maximum RPM, so maybe there can be three options? Manual, Automatic, and Arcade?

    thanks!

the auto transmission shifts at an appropriate rpm based on throttle response. It shifts at a lower rpm if you put less pressure on the accelerator pedal. Like in a real car

Maybe you had kick down cable stuck? (BeamNG automatics lack kick down).

i'm not sure what it is/was, but it's solved now so it doesn't entirely matter :)
