I have a PC with a fairly budget low-end CPU (AMD Athlon X4 845) and 8GB of RAM, for me, this results in a very slow UI, particularily in the parts selector, but I found out I can make it run much quicker for me by setting the "BeamNG.drive.x64.ui.exe" process priority to "Real-Time"

(there's sometimes an extra copy that I also set to Realtime priority that helps, usually when part selector is open)

Would it be possible as a minor update to make that an option within the BeamNG settings for those people like me with a lower-end PC? As mentioned, it greatly increased my performance with the UI, with virtually no in-game performance hit.

It's not recommended to do that, it can cause stability issue.

If Realtime does end up causing stability issues, how about High priority? Or is it the same case here?

I would recommend against messing with process priority at all, especially anything above normal.
