Since it's based off the covet and it will be completely revamped in the next update, here's two things that could happen: Either the internal name stays inchanged (hatchback) and you're gonna need to copy-paste all the old covet parts needed for your mod in it's folder and wheck for conflicts with the new covet. In short, it's not gonna be a great time But the more likely scenario is that the internal name will change to covet, in which case you'll only need to have a separate mod that brings back the old covet.
Or you can put the covets textures in the mod and map the covet textures to the petitron instead of the covet

But it uses covet stuff, doesn't it ? It references covet materials, textures, parts, etc. if that's the case.
yes it uses the Covet textures, BUT, everything is renamed to P1, including the stuff in json and jbeam files.
so... uh, remember when i said about the interior decorations for the 0.6 and it is the last thing to do? well, i will cut the idea. sorry for that. And that means that the update is basically finished, the only thing to wait for is the 0.25 release. --- Post updated --- aaaaaaaaaaand the last thing i did is the thumbnails. finally. now i need to wait for the 0.25 release and then find issues in the 0.25, and fix them, and after that, release it. I could ask one of the devs to try run the mod, but i really don't want to do this, since i'm not the idiot to try to leak info on 0.25. Anyways, stay safe, and wait for the update to come out.
Okay guys, you probably heard about the new Civetta Scintilla teaser car, and the fact that creator program has been updated. I think, it will release either 1 or 2 weeks later, or, it will release on June 25. Once that update will come out, i will find all bugs in Update 0.6 of the mod on 0.25, and then once they all fixed, or not been found, will be released. Now i can't tell how the remastered Covet looks like, but when it will be there, i will also remaster the style of the Autron Petitron sometimes later, so it will match the Ibishu Covet's new remaster design. hello mates, when i was playing beamng and driving in a Autron Petitron, i did found some bugs in it. I will fix them once update 0.25 drops. If you found bugs that are related to the mod (not the game, or other issues) send them here.
Ladies and gentlemen... 0.25 is very soon to be released... i'm currently checking many times SteamDB info on BeamNG, and they changing many stuff today, gonna to be a pretty large update. Once it will be released i will work on my mod so it will work as it needed to be.
it's kinda annoying to repeat, but it doesn't uses Covet stuff, at all, It does uses the same textures, but the names of them are completely different compare to ibishu Covet. Simply, everything that says hatch (ibishu covet's internal name) is replaced with P1 (autron petitron's internal name). If you still don't believe me, open the mod in a ZIP archive program. --- Post updated --- BeamNG 0.25 just got released, No Covet remaster mentions on patch notes of the update though. I'll check if Autron Petitron works --- Post updated --- Petitron now has a friend! Really though, Covet remaster isn't there.
