Here is my little project which is about bringing out the bad-ass in the Pessima. I fell in love with this car ever since the creation thread was first started but I never felt that the available tuning parts gave this car justice. This pack will feature a bunch of extra parts, both cosmetic and performance in the theme of drifting.

I am wondering if it will have a tuned up engine at all in it

 

The car already has a suitable turbo engine which you can increase the boost on. So I don't feel that this is necessary.

 

Ah right, I was actually thinking on the lines of an engine swap from the newer Pessima actually, its like how sometimes you swap a new engine into an old car to make it into a sleeper in a sense?

 

It's a good idea for sure, but it's not the direction I wanna take this mod in. This is more a mod with drift car in focus, so if I'm actually going to include an engine swap it will be one where the engine is flipped over 90 degrees to make a raw RWD setup.

 

Good point there at least you have one, I guess maybe later you may consider it

Thanks! Some parts are just "childs" i guess to other flexbodies, and some parts like the spoilers are j-beamed. And then of course I'm working on custom suspension jbeam setups

 

A little bit of progress. Fender mirrors now have a basic jbeam, no nodes yet but that will come. The mirrors have also been angled properly to give the right reflection. And the single blastpipe exhaust option is added.
Also here you can see what kind of effect body colored vs black trim has on the parts. Separate material also added for the parts which removes the normal map. This allows me to place the UV's better without having normal map artifacts.

Some more parts I'm working on are:

• DR30 style clear skyline tail lights
• External oil cooler
• Front license plate relocation

Currently in the works. Converting the 200BX front suspension to the pessima. Sadly I can't garantee that this will be a success but i will give it a go.

200BX suspension and engine swap. An experimental project at this point but I hope it will work.
