I started this ages ago, back before beamng was even released to the public i think. But i thought it would be cool to bring it back now that beamng is so far along and the submesh collisions work so well now. Its a ramp that causes backflips by dropping away after the front wheels hit it. Works pretty well surprisingly, the hardest part is finding a place to land Because of that im likely going to add a landing ramp as part of the prop, and allow you to adjust the position of it using the tuning menu (some vehicles take a much longer jump to complete a backflip, or maybe you just want to hit it full speed and go for a double, totally possible in the sti-G ) Its only taken a day of work so far so expect a release very soon.
Its great to see another prop going into the game and knowing that its made by somebody who knows what they are doing.. Good luck with your project Hondune, we all look forward to its release.
Well that didnt take long Landing ramp added, and you can adjust its position in the tuning menu to set it up however you need super easily. So the landing ramp is a part you can select like bumpers or whatever on a normal vehicle, no fiddling with spawn points or anything, just spawn it, set its position of the landing ramp in the tuning menu and go do some flips And you can of course remove it if youd like to use just the backflip ramp on its own Just needs to be properly textured now (current texture is temporary) and itll be done!
Pretty much done now! Textured and seams to be stable and works with nearly every car (though you may have to make a custom configuration of the vehicle to get good clean flips) with the exeption of the Pigeon for obvious reasons... If you get a VERY long runway you can get the flipper to actually drop but it usually doesnt end well The sti-G on the other hand is a master of flips
You could include some flipping configs with the release, or release them separately. This is looking really good, it should be fun to mess around with.
I'd prefer that configs be a separate release. Having every mod include a bunch of configs can get tedious. @OP - this is looking good!
Alright well im gonna release this here for some quick beta testing and if all goes well submit to the mod page later this week, need some outsider opinions Couple notes: Sometimes it spawns too high and falls and breaks, just hit control+r once its done moving to spawn it on the ground correctly use shift+c to go into free cam and move to where you want the ramp, and then press f7 to spawn it there, this is the easiest way to set it up after youve hit it you must reset it, just hit tab and then hit i You can change the position of the landing ramp or remove it entirely in the vehicle customization/tuning menu EDIT: Even the semi works xD It really wasnt built to handle all that weight but with the right landing ramp distance it did it no problem!
