Backspacing on a quoted post moves cursor.

When I try to reply with a quote on a post and end up backspacing while I am typing, it will send the cursor back to the break between the quote and my message.

It does it anytime I backspace, and it has already gotten quite annoying, as it took me 2 minutes to re-add a B to the post, and this was only solved by copying and pasting said B to its correct spot.

This started happening around 4 hours ago, if that helps anything.

 

Is your insert key on? (I've had that problem)

 

It seems to happen with any sort of formatting for me. Just switch the editor to source mode (upper leftmost button). It also won't save formatting when copypasting a website and you can see if it dumped junk formatting tags all over your post. It's generally easier in source mode too IMO, as I like typing my own tags. With that said, you can still totally use the format buttons in source mode.

 

this happens to me a lot , it's really annoying making a mistake, pressing backspace a few times only to find that it removed the wrong text
