Is anyone planning on a reverscam ? it would fit the Vivace, the Etk 800 and k-series as they all have a screen in the middle .. and this would be a really nice attention to detail
The mod for the Ford Focus does this, but it uses the reflection of the rearview mirror with an added overlay to simulate a backup camera, and it is really well thought, because if it weren't for the reflection, I Think there is no other way to add this feature as of now.
oh I have this mod and I didn't even know it had that I guess you could just add another cameraperspective and then let the screen play it .. wouldnt be that hard I think but I ain't no programmer so what do I know haha
Hmmm, I don't think it would be that easy, as another camera perspective would require the game engine to render it twice in one view which, I think, would be taxing a lot on GPU power.. and Cpu power too.. Dev's and mods can correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks!
I'm trying to make one but its sort of faking it since its just gonna place the camera at the rear of the car when you are in reverse, since its not possible to add another camera in the scene from that certain perspective and overlay its image onto the infotainment screen. I looked into using the mirror reflections to do that but it just doesn't seem to produce a high quality image.
