Bad screen tearing whenever I look around

Ever since the 0.9 update I have been experiencing some really bad screen tearing whenever I look around using the number keys. I have tried reinstalling the game multiple times and deleting the folder in the documents section but am still experiencing this problem. Even with vsync on it still does this.

 

Check your Graphics settings in the Graphics Control Panel of your video card

 

My framerate ranges from 90 to about 124 frames at most on a map such as East Coast USA. Also, I tried setting the vertical sync to Adaptive on the NVidia control panel put the problem still persisted. Another problem I've been having is the game defaults to the incorrect resolution whenever I delete the game's folder in my documents. The game also now lists the incorrect OS too. It lists Windows 8 as my OS when I'm on Windows 10. Could the screen tearing and the messed up resolution be the fault of my monitor?

 

Hmmm, try a reinstall

 

WAIT A SEC, vsync caps your fps to 60 which is the refresh rate of the monitor, please check it in the ingame settings menu

 

Oh, I forgot to mention that I reset the settings in the my graphics card settings once I found out that vsync didn't work. Sorry KKG. Also, I play in full screen. Also, I have reinstalled the games countless times KKG and it hasn't solved that issue once. I reset the vsync settings to "Use Application Setting" in the graphics options and I have it off in the game itself.

Ah alright. Sorry for bothering you with my post. I just only wish the game wouldn't default to the incorrect resolution whenever I delete the folder in my documents now.

 

So 1680 x 1050 must be the default resolution for this game as of 0.9.0.1 correct? I remember it wasn't resetting it to that resolution during 0.8. It actually reset to 1920 X 1080 which is the actual resolution of my monitor. Also did you guys edit the orbit camera mode? It seems to me it that it acts a bit differently.

 

Thing is, my native resolution is 1920 X 1080. However, whenever I delete my folder in the documents it defaults to 1680 X 1050 which is not the native resolution of my monitor. I have tried reinstalling the game countless times to resolve this issue with no luck. Also, orbit camera inverting on its own before 0.9? Seems interesting.

 

I personally think the new orbit camera should be improved a little bit because whenever I press 5 on the number pad it seems to show to normal angel for a split second. It also seems to kind of do that whenever I reset my vehicle. Not a big issue but I'm just saying. Also I don't know why but the new external camera view seems to be a little bit gittery whenever the car is at a really high speed. Isn't much of a concern either since it's still a really fun camera view.
